   Cookies are small text files that websites store in your browser to remember preferences, maintain sessions, or collect statistics. Similar technologies include localStorage and sessionStorage, which store data in the browser without sending it to the server.

   We use only one essential cookie: NEXT_LOCALE — stores the language you chose (pt-BR, pt-PT, en, es) so the site opens in the same language on your next visits. It is a first-party technical cookie, valid for 1 year. No consent required as it is essential to site function.

3. 3. Local storage (localStorage)

   We use browser localStorage to store your visual theme preference (dark/light). This data stays exclusively on your device and is not sent to our servers or to third parties.

4. 4. Third-party cookies and analytics

   We use Umami Analytics (cloud.umami.is), an analytics tool that does NOT set cookies — Umami identifies visits in aggregate without storing anything in your browser. Because it uses no cookies and collects no personal data, it does not require consent under LGPD or GDPR. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, or any other cookie-based tool. If we add cookie-based tools in the future, this policy will be updated and we will request consent via a banner.

5. 5. Managing cookies

   You can accept, refuse, or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Disabling the NEXT_LOCALE cookie does not prevent use of the site, but will cause the language to be detected automatically on each visit.

   This policy may be updated. The effective date at the top indicates the current version. Material changes will be communicated on our website.
